Around SBN: Steve McNair Dead - Former NFL QB Shot and Killed

Main Event of Seek and Destroy

People have already started attacking the idea of Lesnar and Coleman as the main event of UFC 87, but it may not be the main event, according to the UFC 87 event page.

Brock Lesnar returns to the UFC® Octagon™ at UFC® 87: SEEK AND DESTROY!

At UFC 81, Lesnar fell just short of a victory in his impressive debut against former champ Frank Mir. Now, he's back to face former PRIDE superstar and UFC Hall of Famer, Mark "The Hammer" Coleman. Then, in what could end up being the match of the year, lightweight contenders face off as Kenny "KenFlo" Florian battles Roger "El Matador" Huerta.

Plus, a main event yet to be announced!

Let the speculation begin!

Why the lol? Like he didn’t beat the crap out of Mir for the entire fight before the sub?

The “entire fight” was what? 30 seconds? So yeah ok, he hit Mir for the 30 seconds until he was submitted.

hmmm

well, it will be too soon for the lightweight title to be defended again, the heavyeight title will be defended in december, the lightheavyweight title will be defended the month before, so that leaves either Anderson Silva vs Okami or GSP vs Fitch. I would prefer to see Anderson vs Okami, but either one would be nice.

Yeah I’ll back Silva vs. Okami. Provided Silva has stopped giving the UFC nasty looks and making up nasty rumours about him with his girlfriends.

C'mon

You can’t throw out a statement like that and not expand on it. What rumors have they started about him and his girlfriends?

i think he is making a joke, referencing Dana White’s quote about all the fighter be jealous bitches who sit around and gossip to each other like women at a hair salon…..dana made a comment to that affect around the time couture started beefing…... Sam is subtle like that…..

Good eye, Mike. I totally missed that.

Silva v. Okami would be a squash! I don’t even know who they could put up with Silva that would be worthy, or have a chance lol. GSP vs Fitch should be up there sometime this year.
