9 year old girl in MMA fight - is this just wrong?

Could you stomach that? It appears that they were punching to the chest not face. I think they both showed pretty good form and must have been training for a while.

I have less of a problem with kids competing in a sport that is good for fitness and self esteem and is safety is a priority - than with the parents that whore up and drag their daughters to kiddie beauty pageants…

Not really sure what to think of this stuff. I don’t believe kids’ punches are hard enough to do much serious damage, but I really don’t know. I have no problem with kids training for MMA, but competition may be a different story.

Yeah, I’m mixed on this also. It seamed like it was fairly safe as there was no punches to the head allowed. I also have no issue with kids training for MMA, but I think they might want to set a age for the competition aspect of the sport.
