MMA Live Was Excellent
I was critical of the E:60 piece on Gina Carano, but I thought the debut of MMA live was absolutely fantastic. They had a ton of great footage, the Florian "mma for dummies" segment was really well-done, and the analysis was good. I like inside MMA, but this was night and day.

I thought this was a very good debut episode. Not perfect, but very good. I liked the spread of coverage! I was afraid this would be all about the UFC, since there were rumors of problems with the UFC demanding it be exclusive to the Octogan.
I was pleasantly surprised. Hopefully there is enough of a reason for ESPN to expand the episode count and continue on with the show.

a great start indeed, I guess we will see where they take it from here.

That was really solid. Once they stop spending half the episode begging for viewer e-mails, it’ll be even better.

I agree with the above comments. Well-done show. I think with a consistent slot, even online, it can improve weekly. I can picture them adding guest fighters doing satellite interviews (or in-studio if possible), which would definitely help move it along. Very good for a debut.

I gotta give it to Florian. He’s a real class act. Great on camera and a good ambassador for the sport.

Dear ESPN,
The picture you had up was Kazuhiro Nakamura, not Daisuke Nakamura. Please fix yourself.
Best,
