Sean Hannity: Idiot

I'm not completely persuaded one way or the other yet on the kids in MMA thing. Still, this video makes me wish Sean's kids were in MMA.

Observations:

MMA was described as "bare knuckle" at the same moment a PADDED punch was thrown.
They were only given two fights from which to draw clips.
Kid armbars the wrong arm at the very end.

I'm a little tired of media outlets suckering people involved in MMA into being on their show when it's only to try and make the guest and the sport look bad. However, if everyone just declined these shock pieces they would simply open up the segment with "no one we talked to would accept the invitation to defend their 'sport'". Humph.

I didn't think I had any problem with kids training, but all these competition videos are making me feel a bit iffy.

While I agree that Sean Hannity is an idiot, I think kids are better off getting a strong foundation in one discipline first and then branching out.

What concerns me more is the trainer is dumb enough to show up to the interview and not have anything prepared to talk about. He can't even spell combat correctly and he is teaching kids MMA.

I'm not a big fan of the "kids competing in full on MMA" thing. I have no problem with kids training and learning but full on-full speed fights? Seems a little bit like "lets have some kids kick the shit out of eachother!" Rather than "lets let the kids show what they've learned."
