I've been complaining a bit that Dan didn't do enough to defend the choke (despite the previous shots to the head and suffocating body triangle).  Any chance this kick broke his collar bone?  It doesn't take much and Dan was coming forward in that replay.  Hendo didn't show for the post fight press conference and Lindland mentioned to Josh Gross that Dan was sad and "maybe a little injured."  One would think, that a top level guy would put two hands on one and pull down with only 10 seconds left in the round.  Personally, I'd really like to see Hendo/Silva, best two outta three.  That would solve the "what's next for Silva" question.      

It wasn't a broken collarbone but a punch and knee to the face that happened just before it hit the ground. He was dazed, everyone could see it. It's hard to escape any type of submission when you are trying to regain your bearings. Silva just hits really hard.
