Tito's "Plan"

Dave Meltzer reports in this week's print edition of The Wrestling Observer that if Tito does not re-sign with The UFC, the plan is to do a ten year anniversary rematch with Frank. Part of the promotion would be Ken "reuniting" with his brother Frank to train him for Tito.

This would be a huge sell if they actually had TV. Who knows, maybe by then someone will, and this would be a bigger feather in the cap to start with for a startup promotion than Couture/Fedor.

Make sure in the future you say "re-sign" and not "resign." I'm no grammar nazi but I did spend 45 seconds trying to figure out how Tito would fight Frank Shamrock if he didn't resign from the UFC.

That might be a fight that draws a lot of attention, but I can't see it going any differently than the first two. I'd be worried that they wouldn't get it sanctioned given that Ken will be 45 by next summer, and the fact that Tito destroyed Ken so decisively.
