Re: Henderson on Rome Is Burning
Some days I like Rome, some I cant.

This fight is getting really hard to pick.  At first I thought Hendo was just playing the "I'm good in the clinch" thing, but he keeps saying it.  If he reverts to the boxingstanding style he wants to use, he's gonna earn his first KO, of himself.  If he fights smart, something hard for most wrestlers not named Couture to do, he wins easily by the third via GNP.  Those picks to me are 7030 easy.

I dont thing Silva's BJJ is good enough to counter Hendo's solid Greco.  Hands wise, they both hit hard as hell, but Hendo has MMA hands, while Silva has long ago earned is Mongkon.  No denying Hendo's chin, if he can handle QRJ's power, he can handle Silva's, but the precision of Silva's strikes are what worry me for Dan.  Anderson can pinpoint any one of the seven head KO spots even with gloves on unlike most MMA fighters, including QRJ.

I thing Dan will win for one simple fact.  He is very hard to KO.  Silva is not gonna be walking out with another 2nd round sub or KO.  Dan could fight for 10 rounds and not gas.  Anderson's tank hasnt been tested in a long time.

Being from high altitude Curitiba, he probably has naturally good lungs, but when altitude training it is SO key to increase the ambient temperature as well.  This is why some ppl respond to HAT and some dont.  Theyre breathing thin cold air, not thin hot air.

Dan in the fifth via GNP.  That's my pick right now.  The third round is gonna be frigging awesome in this one.
