“USA! USA! USA!” ??

Am I the only one thinking this could get pretty ugly (fan/crowd-wise)?

Because of his name? Maybe people are ignorant enough to get hung up on that. Doubt it, though.

The usual drunken idiot crew that attends most of these events?

not to mention this is taking place outside of a military base…. All im going to say is they arent the sharpest spoons in the shed.

Why the fuck would you sharpen a spoon, let alone keep it in a shed?

How is Brian Stann not fighting on this card?

injury I believe. He was going to fight Cantwell

by Discman2 on Dec 8, 2008 5:46 PM EST up reply actions

Yeah, what Discman2 said. I was looking forward to the rubber match between the two. That last fight, he overwhelmed Stann using a whole mixed bag of standup. Unless Stann learned to diversify away from simply boxing since the last fight, I figure Cantwell would have won again anyway.

Yep...

I picked Cantwell to win both of their first two fights and was wrong on the first but I saw exactly what I thought I would in that fight. Then the second fight went exactly according to the plan I said he would follow.

The third would have just been the second fight all over again…

I'm looking forward to this fight...

I’ve always been impressed by Steve Cantwell and I’m curious to see how Al-Hassan performs. I hope this doesn’t get ugly just cuz of the guy’s name…
