Does that say St-Pierre vs Penn squared?

My lord Coleman looks TERRIBLE. He’s going to be in for a rough night, barring a repeat of that sick elbow dislocation.

These posters are getting much better. They’re still nothing compared to the OWGP poster from 2006, but a big improvement.

agreed
as a designer by trade, it’s nice to look at them and not cringe for a change. the 93 one is particularly nice. wonder if they’ve got someone new doing them. some of those mini-sites theyve been putting up for different events have been sharp as well.

Are they moving away from the “title themed” ppv’s and just using UFC 99: X vs. Y?
Seems like they’re going to have their NYE show named “Ultimate [YYYY]” and no title for their ppvs.

I guess Ultimate is the Superbowl of MMA.

Yeah, looks like they’re finally getting away from undertitles, thank god.
I’ve always thought the UFC posters were good, at least in the past couple years. These are a definite notch above though, especially the 93 poster. That’s one for the wall.

The 92 poster is rather good, actually – except for Forrest-Rashad part. On top there’s Mir and Nog ready to go at it, then Rampage and Silva throwing some nice poses – and then two guys looking like absolute twits. It’s sad that of those three fights, I’m waiting for Evans-Griffin the most and they look like they don’t belong on the poster.

Well…I don’t think either Forrest or Rashad can really look intimidating…ever.
