Fighters are supposed to be professionals.......

I think they should be docked 10% of their purse for EVERY lb over.

For example. If a fighter fights at 170. His pay is 10k show/10k win….and he shows up at 174. Then he should be docked $1000 per lb……therefore if he comes in a t 174, his new pay is 6k to show/6k to win.

That has to be some kind of deterrant. People that make 100k show/100k win…..and they show up a lb or 2 over. What usually happens is they get docked some minimal amount where it doesnt really even effect them greatly.

These guys are PROFESSIONALS. Making weight should be MANDATORY. If I were in charge, I would give the fighters ONE lb and that is it. There is no reason they dont show up on weight EACH and EVERY time!!!! IF you CANT make weight…..THEN THAT FIGHTER SHOULD BE FORCED TO FIGHT IN THE NEXT HEAVIEST WEIGHT CLASS, plain and simple. That would stop all this bull shit
