Bloody Elbow Fight Video Challenge

Here's my situation: my girlfriend is having family in town and it's one of those situations where it's all family and not me. I'm cool with that and got a decently priced room in the Mayflower Hotel in downtown in DC (yes, this is the hotel where former New York state governor Elliot Spitzer was taxing Ashlee Dupree). Most of my friends are out of town or busy with family, so it looks like I'm riding solo tonight.
What I need from you folks is a little help. I need something to watch tonight and as lame as watching YouTube videos by yourself in a hotel room might sound, it's the kind of peace and quiet I could really benefit from.
If you'd be so kind, post links to the best fight videos to watch tonight. The only premium I place on the videos is length. I'd rather not watch 20 minutes per fight if I can avoid it. Other than that, post brawls, timeless classics, beatdowns, back and forths, or whatever you fancy.
I've certainly got my go-to's, but sometimes it helps to get a new perspective on what to focus on. Any help you folks can provide is appreciated.

Kampmann v. McFedries - UFC68
One of the most entertaining fights, in my opinion. Kampmann shows a serious chin and comes back with a slick arm triangle putting McFedries to sleep before he even realizes it.

you can forget about MMA for 1 nite and watch LeBron Vs. Dwyane Wade. Heat and the Cavs at 7 PM tonite. Thats the sure shot.
I know more Raptor fans then Leaf fans
May be because the Leafs kinda sucked the past few years.
Correct!
Any sport where knocking a guy over when he deliberately stands in front of you is still a foul is not worth watching.

Yes, we do have MMA in Finland. As well as kickboxing. Don’t have anyone in UFC (well, Tony Halme is a Finn and he did fight Couture all those years ago…)

Ah...
Zab Judah. How I loath thee. My wife worked for a high end hair salon in Chicago and his press agent (or someone involved with him in a media relations capacity…I should be careful not to misrepresent who it actually was) was a client. My wife asked me if I wanted her to set up an interview with him (back when I was writing for BadLeftHook) and I couldn’t think of anything I would want to say to the guy so I had to politely say “um…no I don’t think that would be a good idea”
Small side story while I’m talking about her old salon. Carlson Gracie lived in the same building where her salon was so he would stop by every day to smile, wave or wink at her. She was legitimately heartbroken at his passing.

I have
about 7 different mma video websites I traffic daily, and basically between them all I can find almost any fight I want to see. I don’t want to post the links here incase someone who isn’t supposed to be reading this sees it and decides to take the sites down due to content. So if you want the site, just email me at nicktravaglini@gmail.com and I will send them along to you. Have fun in the hotel room.

Will you be trying to watch NYE K-1 Premium?
If so, I wouldn’t kill yourself watching MMA fights as we’ll be sitting around all morning watching 19 god damn fights consecutively with two intermissions.
If not, watch any Manhoef fight in which he gorillas somebody into the ropes then tees off on their face.

Excellent Compilation (Josh Neer / Houston Alexander)
Although, I was live for the Grice/Black match (and I agree it was an amazing fight) – here is another great vid. It is from the “Toad Hollar” days where Josh Neer, Houston Alexander, Victor Moreno and Demi Deeds all got their start. Check it out!
http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=1212827
yeah being there live was sick. Too bad the rest of the card was lackluster, but oh well we got to see the rise of Demain Maia.
Demian Maia has made me plenty of money. I’ve been on him in his last 3 fights. I’m a lil’ torn on what to do against Sonnen though.
Really? I have Maia defeating Sonnen fairly quickly.
Filho beat Sonnen in their first matchup, and the only reason it didn’t end quicker was because Sonnen was able to drop Filho a few times with punches. Maia is a bit better and non-lackadasical in his avoidance of damage in the standup game. I think Maia easily avoids an onslaught, and subs Sonnen. Sonnen showed some piss-poor submission defense in the first bout with Filho.
It’s obvious as well that Filho had huge problems cutting and gassed instantaneously as soon as he had to defend takedowns. Maia won’t have that problem.
Editor-in-chief of MMA-Analyst.com
by Leland Roling on Dec 30, 2008 3:16 PM EST up reply actions
Me too,
and it is not like Sonnen has hands of steel or anything. Maia should pretty much walk right thru him.
Filho was just so terrible in those fights. It was obvious he was having problems cutting, and to be honest, in that first fight, Filho looked like he was done after the first flurry. The only saving grace was that Sonnen’s submission defense is atrocious.

If you can find them,
Palhares vs. Acacio
Palhares vs. Negao
Both from Fury FC when he won the tournament. Acacio had a nice Power Bomb in that event as well where the guy literally fell out of the ring and got hurt hitting the concrete floor because it was so violent.
Highlights: Palhares shows why he could be the next Paulo Filho as far as power submissions go. Note: Two ankle breakages.

I heard Palhares vs. Horn for UFC 93, but that could be off the table now.
