I'll keep this brief: I hope everyone is able to spend the holiday with family and if not, at least with those close to them. Please travel safe, enjoy good food, open fun presents and take a breather from work.
And come back strong. We've got some amazing MMA later this week and in 2009. We look forward to watching and discussing all of it with you.

Keep up the really great work on the site lads, BE has become my go-to-default site when I’m either looking for info on MMA or when I’m literally bored in work! Its such a great resource.

Well Christmas is technically over for me, but I hope the rest of you enjoy the last 13 hours or so of yours.
MMA Related gifts eh… well my brother bought me Chuck Liddell’s book, which is pretty good so far, and I also gots myself a gi! Yiew. 2009 is seeing Sam getting into jiu jitsu finally. I’ve been too poor recently to afford memberships/monthly fees but that has now righted itself.
There’s a Beston-Gracie jiu jitsu place nearby which I’ll be hitting up. It’s headed up by Luke Beston and last year Royce and Royler Gracie taught a seminar which is pretty awesome.
My brother’s been hitting it up for the past year and he says its great so its time for me to get into it.
Merry xmas and happy birthday to me!! MY mma related gift was a plane ticket to vegas and 1st section tickets to bj vs gsp 2!!! cant wait jan 30th!!

I got Pride 33 Second Coming. Its in Vegas though so no knees or kicks to the head of a downed opponent. : (. It is like UFC without elbows but it has some great fights.
