That’s Mirko practicing against a former Croatian basketball player. He’s also 7 feet tall. It’s going to be quite a sight to see if Mirko does go for the LHK in the actual fight.

Now he trains in a cage…

With a PRIDE canvas.

Did you know we are in high demand, Laura?

by Eugene Schelfaut on Dec 23, 2008 4:31 PM EST up reply actions

I believe that’s the canvas from the ring PRIDE used for the finals of the OWGP.

i noticed the same thing

lets train in a ring for a cage fight

and in a cage for a ring fight…

im not impressed with your performance

He’s been training in a cage for a while now. I think he had it installed after the Gonzaga fight.

I have HMC winning this due to the MMA rules. If Fedor couldn’t take dude down, what chance does CC have?

HMC is so terrible

I’d agree, but oh wait… HMC is slower than the Staypuff Marshmallow Man. He can’t do anything, and CC will likely leg kick him to death and deliver the TKO blow at some point.

I hope

but if Crocop’s knee limits his mobility and HMC can just charge him clinch and take him down… Well, you saw what 2 of those monster blows he landed on Fedor did… Mirko won’t be able to get out from underneath nearly as easy.

FOr your information

When Fedor was fighting Hong Man Choi, those bruises on his face were not caused by Choi’s fists, but when he scraped his face against the canvas while trying to armbar Choi (Fedor said so in the interview)

Also, Did you know that HMC broke free from the first armbar attempt because he tapped and Fedor. released him, but the ref. didnt see it? If you dont believe me watch the Referee camera version of the fight.

CC won’t want to take him down. He’d be happy kickboxing the guy I’d think.

Has everyone in combat sports beaten Bob Sapp at some point in their careers?

Super Heavy Weights

What is the deal with Super Heavy Weights not being in the UFC? Mark Hunt, Hong man Choi and Bob Sapp would do some damage against the cage. I would love to see Mark Hunt or Bob Sapp fight Brock in the cage!!!!! Mark Hunt would destroy Brock Lesnar. Pride had SHW’s fighting HW’s. The UFC also needs to change the kicking rules.

The fact that you wrote ‘Bob Sapp would do some damage against the cage’ makes me realize that this was a joke post.

by Discman2 on Dec 24, 2008 3:00 AM EST up reply actions

Mark Hunt would get steamrolled in the cage due to the fact that he’s just terrible right now. Bob Sapp gets hit once, and he’s done. Jan Nortje, the animated gif above, is a terrible MMA fighter, but a decent K-1 fighter, and he ended Sapp instantly. HMC, as I had this debate last night with a bunch of degenerates, is the slowest man alive. A turtle could outpace his kicks. All three would get killed.

Not only is he reaching his dome, it looks like he can reach the top of it!!! WOW!! I’m still not sure if he can do it mid-fight tho, that’s a little harder than doin it for a photo op.

HMC by ground and pound.
round 1

by DirtyML on Dec 23, 2008 7:42 PM EST reply actions

Reaching a 7 footer's heat is one thing,

actually having enough zing still on the blow to knock the guy out is another.

I have no doubt that CroCop will win the fight, its a gimick fight, but I doubt that the left kick will be the blow to do it.

I see CC using the left leg to break HMC’s right leg or bust his ribs long before he can land a significant head kick.

Kaoklai Kaennorsing

headkicked HMC. Mirko could do it but I would much rather he just take his legs out.
