Well, since The UFC seems to make Sakara a scarificial lamb to up and comers I would say they like Rosholt. A lot.

are you saying he didn’t have his fair chance to win against them?

I dunno

If rosholt tries to stand like he did with Osterneck, he will get KTFO.

Well...

here’s hoping Rosholt has a much better showing than his last fight.

The two “unsigned” (at the time) guys I really was preaching the word on were Rosholt and Jim Miller. Miller has made me look pretty smart but Rosholt really gave a questionable (but gutsy) performance in the WEC…so we’ll see.

Rosholt’s gonna get smashed unless he’s spent the last month doing nothing but learning to move his head or how to finish someone on the ground. Sakara is ten times the striker Osterneck was.

Rosholt has a chin, Sakara doesn’t. It’s going to be punishment and then Rosholt will get Sakara to the ground and pound him out. Rosholt’s last fight wasn’t a good showing for him but he is a beast with sick top control and tremendous ground and pound. Sakara has never impressed me at all.

Everyone seems to overlook how good Nissen Osterneck actually is. In my opinion, Osterneck was the same level of prospect as Rosholt. The fact that Rosholt, only with wrestling, cardio and some guard passing was able to pull out a victory over Osterneck is still extremely impressive for a guy in his 5th fight.

I thought so too until I saw the fight, but Rosholt’s lack of head movement was so bad that it made me much less impressed with Rosholt rather than being impressed with Osterneck. I think Osterneck is a decent prospect nonetheless but not UFC ready. Rosholt needs work and could easily get KTFO’d by Sakara.

Yeah...

saying he performed poorly isn’t meant to be a knock on Osterneck (by me anyway) the point is that Rosholt showed bigger holes in his game than a lot of us thought he had…especially in his defensive techniques when standing.

I really don’t see how Rosholt deserves a shot in the UFC after that last fight… he’s a good wrestler but I have never seen someone with that little stand up in the ring.

Sure, its nice that he won… but UFC material?

Rosholt by eating a lot of punches and still knocking out Sakara in what will either be the KO of the night or fight of the night in my opinion.

Say Goodbye

to Alessio. This is probably his ticket out of the ufc.

Rosholt looked terrible in his last fight

And this was a guy being hyped to hell on the internet because of his wrestling pedigree. I think Sakara is going to KO him. Sakara has been getting better over his last fights.

Is it just me or does Jake look like he could star in the sequel to Eric Stoltz finest performance, Mask….
