* Gouveia did not make weight and for safety reasons, the Nevada State Athletic Commission won't allow him to make a second weight cutting attempt. The bout will go on at a catch weight of 189 pounds, and Gouveia will forfeit 20% of his purse to MacDonald.

They apparently are saying that it was unhealthy for Gouveia to make a 2nd attempt at cutting weight…. that definitely is an upside for McDonald if Gouveia is drained and dehydrated.
Whats with guys not making weight lately? Paulo Filho has started a domino effect here..

wow. So practically Macdonald will proabbly fight tomorrow at 190, and Gouevia will be up at 200 or 205.. so Hughes/Alves II
Fighters need to start making weight, it is becoming a trend now. Its stupid.

Oh for sure...
if he gets something locked in he is both good and strong enough to rip a limb off. I just think we’re going to see him lose, and look tired if it goes past 3 or 4 minutes.
