I was wondering how much was raised. I’m glad that this is helping the troops, but I think it is also helping to give MMA a better public image as well. I just hope the injury filled card doesn’t have an effect on that image. Who is the lucky guy that won the VIP auction? Does anyont know? It was at like 18,000 something last time I looked.

Wow, I just looked at the auction and with 34 bids it ended with a bid of $40,400.00. Incredible. $58,700.00 from the auction alone. Not to mention the donations. That’s impressive.

Why is Dave Meltzer reporting this? Shouldn’t Spike TV or the UFC be reporting this?

MMAJunkie is reporting that over 2 million viewers watched the fight as well. Not bad.
