Alright.. I came across this article on MySpace of this fellow named Billy "BadBoy" Leroy saying he was supposed to fight Carwin next month... Has anyone ever heard of this guy? I have looked high and low all over the net and have found nothing!
POST HE MADE:
"I RETIRE! I had it with this high school favoritism bullshit"!!
"My one chance to make something out of myself in the FUCKING UFC and he backs out.
"Native Americans will never have a place at the top, I have proved to be better than anyone so far...still, you sit me at the bottom expecting me to lay down for you?"
"I proved to be better off alone and running the game by myself, as soon as I get signed? You think I will just take a fall for money? Do you really think I am a sellout? HELL NO I AM NOT!"
"That punk has every angle as I do to fight! You want me to throw the fight so he can look better? Just because he was to irresponsible to train? I am not doing this."
"I retire from this fucking wannabe organization...I know why street fighters stay underground-they never wimp out like this."
This is my lash out at the UFC Organization after they ran the information by me that Mr. Carwin refused to fight me.
I'm sorry for telling my supporters that I was to fight in January...I guess it won't happen now. Thank you for supporting me though, I appreciate it.
I will go back to the underground and stay there...it was more fun and no one...NOONE EVER PUNKS OUT OF A FIGHT!!! See you all around.

Fighting Shane Carwin? He’s delusional. I bet he;s one of those guys who tell his friends ‘Yeah I fight in the UFC’ when he really fights in the back alley of his local 7Eleven.

That sounds about right. The guy isn’t on Sherdog meaning he has never fought on a major show, if he has had any actual MMA fights at all. If (and that’s a big if) there is any credibility to this guy’s story at all it’s that whoever manages his shit for him told him some lies saying he could get him a UFC fight. Then, when the UFC saw he’s never fought anywhere that is decent enough to get recorded, they passed.
C’mon pal. Wild Bill’s MMA will let anybody on a card. At least Houston Alexander had an actual 6-1 record coming into the UFC in addition to his claim that he won 100 or so underground fights.

Looking at what I am assuming is his amateur record, I would say someone may have fallen into a troll trap.

Shane Carwin def trains. If Carwin did turn down a fight with him then I wouldn’t call it bitcching out, but not wanting to waste time on a no name scrub. Also, is he saying someone was trying to get him to take a dive?
