Chances of Werdum Joining Affliction. "Non-Whatsoever"

According to MMA Lives Frank McNeil, there is no chance Werdum will be signing with Affliction and their talented HW division. The reason... money. Werdum simply wants too much and Affliction is finally realizing you cannot pay a ton of money to fighters who don't bring in a ton of money.

This is an unfortunate spot for Werdum to be in. He was cut from the UFC over money (and probably the fact he complained openly about his lack of a title shot) and now the only other organization with any real HW division does not want him either. That leaves the #5 meta ranked HW in the world (pre KO) likely headed to Japan to fight for far less money than he believes he is worth.

So the UFC let him go because they thought they were paying him too much money and Affliction(the guys who paid Tim Sylvia $800k) won’t hire him because he cost too much money, sounds like the guy might need to review his asking price.
