Strikeforce on NBC getting better/worse
Every week, my DVR records Strikeforce at 3:30am on Sunday morning on NBC via the Dish Network. Each week, I watch the featured fight(s) and I'm glad to see a gradual improvement in the quality of the competition and the production. However, the audio is deteriorating on my feed - only intermittently clear enough to hear. Am I the only one?
Some weeks, Strikeforce really scraped the bottom of the barrel, putting mismatches and boring fights on network TV. However, they're building a bigger repertoire of fights and the action is getting more exciting, despite the fact that the matches are often months or years old.
This past episode featured Frank Shamrock vs. Cesar Gracie, a fight I've wanted to see for some time (and his Baroni match, a fight I've seen too many times). It's obviously building up to a feature with Frank vs. Cung Le. Wouldn't it be great if they could play that one and maybe Melendez/Thompson during a better time-slot? They could overdub the Ken Shamrock commentary, as they seem to do each week, and build up to a really corny bro vs. bro match.
Before any of this happens, I really would like to see the audio improve. I'm tired of it going in and out throughout the 30 minute show.
