that was some good judo shit right there...
i hope that civilian sues that cop.. a little unnecessary if you ask me
really?
I thought it would be best to try and break up a fight so nobody continues to get hurt or gets in trouble. Unless of course, a cop is nearby and then you have to worry about him picking you up and almost breaking your neck.
Unnecessary? Definitely Not
I would do what I could to prevent another fist thrown. And from the cops vantage point he had no choice but to grab and throw. I hate the hurry up and sue mentality it makes it harder for cops to do their yobs.
Do you have any context to this incident? Or do you just assume that the cops do this randomly for no reason?

“The cop claimed Long deliberately drove his bike into him, sending both of them falling to the ground. Pogan [the cop] claimed to have suffered cuts from the impact.”
The context is that the cop was an asshole who decided to attack someone (and arrested the guy for assaulting a police officer). Thank god for video cameras.
A bit off the topic here, but my point was that, while most cops are good people, sometimes they (and security people) are just jerks who like to abuse their position.
I saw this entire thing. It was insane. The girl starts screaming at the guy above her for calling her white trash. Then her boyfriend punches the guy, so the guy, who I just learned is a fighter, threw a right and sent him flying. He kept ducking her punches, and finally pushes her down. Boyfriend comes back and wants to fight more, and then ANOTHER guy comes down and puts a RNC on him to stop the fight! This is the guy who got slammed. This video does not capture the insanity of the friend of the first guy who tackled the girl down over 3 rows of chairs.
If you’re going to start a fight at a football game, know how to tackle and block. If you’re going to start a fight at a baseball game, mind the old people.
If you’re going to start one at a UFC event, know what the fuck you’re doing.

It's basic ...
you can NEVER start a fight at any sort of sporting event when you are BELOW the other person. I’ve never seen the “winner” come from below.
The cop throw was a bit of a show though.
Wonderful point!!

Tight Judo throw. I can’t really see if the guy that got ragdolled really did anything, but it was a tight slam. The guy tackling the girl was a little overboard. Every UFC event I’ve attended I have waited for a fight to break out. Too many hammered fans all pumped up.
btw some one needs to make a .gif of that throw, and the tackle.

prime example of why i’ve never bought tickets to a ufc show (aside from not living very close to a majority of them). seems like it would be drunken d-bag central.
I went to UFC 84 and the guys two rows in front of us started spitting on the guys one row in front of us.
I took my little sister to Twilight on Saturday and a fight broke out.
So, people don’t have to be wearing Tapout to be of questionable character. They can be goth, as well.

I’ve been to many UFC events and have never witnessed any fights. You will always have one or two knuckleheads in every crowd. And if you want to talk about douche-bag central, go to a Raider game. I can’t wait till they come to San Diego next month. Nothing like beating the shit out of black and white.
Thanks
This comment made me laugh!
And no I’m pretty sure I will never go to a Raiders home game. There is a few college towns I will always steer clear of also.
Morgantown?

I read on UG forum that the guy in the suit is Ray sefo and in the yellow t shirt is his "little " brother! lol talk about barking up the wrong tree…..
It does resemble him from the back and the old guy with him is trying to usher him out, as if to say ‘you shouldn’t be seen around this situation. We don’t want any negative press.’
Apparently Ray was the picture of a gentleman putting up with her dumb ass for the entire event and after finally asking again and again for her to sit down so they could watch Randy fight (he trains at Extreme couture) when she said fuck you again, he called her fat white trash. (Or somethign very similar.) Her man had earlier told Ray that he was a pro fighter too after she recognized him as a fighter (LOL) and at this point Ray sent his ass for a ride I guess. Then she wigged out. Apparently it was all worked out. There is a reason everybody is pointing at that drunk broad and witnesses sorted it all out with everybody later.
For the bleeding hearts.....
I run security for a pretty big nightclub in philadelphia and if you have never been a bouncer or a cop, you will never know how hard of a job it truly is. While I never condone damaging a patron with unnecessary force, you would never know how hard it is to deal with an intoxicated person who does not want to listen. Sometimes it is literally for their own good to cause them a little pain and remove them from a situation instead of letting them cause a bigger incident. And the safety of my guys comes ahead of a drunk patron.
In this case it seems everyone did the right thing and kept it from escalating further. What happens if the security official does not throw that man out of the crowd and another friend of the girl or worse yet a member of the crowd who decides to be a hero wants to settle the dispute right there. and they may have 10 friends there, and it all of a sudden lights off into a full blown riot. I have seen it happen and it is not a good thing.
If a fight happens near you, do yourself, the people involved, and the security a favor and stay out of it and support them in stopping it.

This is the type of thinking that gets people hurt, not what the security officer did. You end up being the problem, not the solution.
