Poor Lina
Like a deer in the headlights. She knew she shouldn’t be there yet :(

that was a terrible fight. Poor girl didn’t know what to do. I wonder if she took the fight just for the money or if she didn’t think Couture was any good either. Hopefully they match Kim up with somebody who fights face forward next time.

She must not be up to that lesson yet;
“lesson 12: Face your opponent at all times”
Absolutely no business being in the cage :/

I think K. Couture’s fight should have been stopped sooner – Kvokov obviously didn’t want to fight anymore after the first flurry but didn’t have enough sense to tap. Even though they were both 0-1, Couture would obviously had more experience training at Xtreme Couture with some of the world’s finest. Weird matchmaking.

Kvokov should stick to training ONLY.
And who would fight Aleksander? Doesn’t he have hep?

So says the CSAC
And that’s not the most trustworthy group, given how they have mismanaged tests in the past. Besides, I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that Lee Sang Soo didn’t even know about it.

Not quite.
It is common knowledge that Aleksander failed to meet medical licensing requirements, but the CSAC has never specified the reason for his ban, only saying that he would never be licensed in the state of California nor likely anywhere else in the US.
I’m curious as to where the Hep B rumor began, exactly.

What’s worse, then? Hiding the reason or allowing a false reason to spread? Feckin’ CSAC.

Was it me or did Couture hit that chick on the back of the head a lot? I mean its not really her fault because the chick kept turning away but still… She was never really warned about it, even if it wasn’t on purpose.

Kvokov should have been warned during the fight.

More importantly, I think that could have been the perfect spot to enforce the much discussed “timidity rule”.

Yes, indeed!
That (her turning away like that) would be equivalent to “not inteliigently defending” herself. Stoppage right away, afaic.

Sad
At least now I can say I understand the opponents to female MMA. That was abysmal. Especially bad for someone as high-profile as Kim. I’m terribly ashamed to be a fan after that.
