Aoki only wants to fight Yoshihiro Akiyama on NYE
I found this @ MMAFighting's Japan section.
"It seems to me that Mikey (Yoshihiro Akiyama) is making fun of our event," Aoki said Sunday on the "Fighting Talk of the Treasure House" radio show. "His demand is nothing but self-centered. I won't fight anybody except Mikey on NYE. I'll defeat him without gaining any weight. If he doesn't take this offer, I will consider that he is afraid of fighting me, and runs away."

And from the WTF?! section...
DREAM producer Keiichi Sasahara is working to comply with Aoki's request.
"We were thinking about Badr Hari and Choi Hong Man as Aoki's opponent, but now we are only negotiating with Akiyama."
Badr Hari or Hong-Man Choi!?!?!?!?!? Does FEG not like Aoki, are they trying to get him killed? I've added an image for what I would assume would be the size difference...

Anyways, here's the full article, with a link to more on the Aoki-Akiyama situation...Aoki will only fight Akiyama on NYE

I like each of these matches. And if I had to bet, I’d take Aoki for each of them. A pure kick boxer is foder for a seasoned Jiu Jitsu veteran. And Aoki is a better MMArtist than Akiyama. The fight with Akiyama would have so much appeal in Japan, the problem is that Akiyama is becoming such a success I don’t think he really wants to fight such a tough opponent.
That's just a big son of a bitch -- that's all there is to it.
Akiyama is an olympic level grappler, a seasoned MMA veteran, and hits considerably harder than Joachim Hansen.

BE has become so busy lately that you have to go beyond just the featured Fanshots sometimes.
Simco’s post says nothing about the Aoki-Akiyama rivalry though, which is what I was trying to highlight.
