MMA DVD's for Nov 18th

If you're like me, you have to have every single MMA event that's released on DVD. Well, if you are, I'll help you out, I'll try to post a blog on Tuesday's letting everyone know what's out for the day. (Unless there isn't anything of course.)

First up is this, for the first time ever, the UFC comes to Blu-Ray, hopefully we'll see more of this.

UFC: Ultimate Comebacks

I always wondered what the UFC would come up with for more DVD revenue…and I love the new DVD idea. Who dosen’t love a comeback? Nog vs. Sylvia better be on there, Big Nog needs to be on the damn cover for that matter. lol

I like that DVD idea a lot, I might even pick it up. What better way to help you when you feel down and out in life than to watch Hughes/Trigg II or Nogueira/Sylvia?

Excellent idea/post. Thanks!!

Might I also suggest that you add a prior release each week of your choosing? Just to help guide us less knowledgeable DVD purchasers.

I could do that, in fact. Here you go. Here’s one that was recently released that I don’t think a lot of people knew was released.

It was released Oct. 28th, and should be available @ Best Buy for about $15.

Something I should’ve mentioned about TE Absolute:
There are good things and bad things about Zuffa putting out these DVD’s.
Good: They are usually in 16:9 widescreen
Bad: They don’t have the complete event like Dreamstage used to have.
And there aren’t as many special features as usual, instead of being a 2-disc set, it’s down to 1-disc with minimal features.
