KOTC Looking to Expand in Early 2009

Kotc_medium_medium

Terry Trebilcock gave another positve outlook for KOTC and ProElite again today.  From getting their license reinstated by the CSAC to their aggresive event scheduling, KOTC appears to headed in the right direction. The question is, will they take ProElite along with them?

 MMAPayout.com reports:

“All options are still open at this time,” Trebilcock told MMAPayout.com. “It’s business as usual for King of the Cage and we are always working to expand our broadcast platforms. Whether its CBS, Showtime, FOX Sports or another platform, we expect to expand in early 2009.

Trebilcock also confirmed that King of the Cage remains a wholly owned subsidiary of ProElite at this time.

Also, if you look at proelite.com, it looks like KOTC is slowly taking over ProElite.
King Of The Cage appears to be the new face for ProElite, and may be what will keep them afloat for now. For ProElite, distancing themselves from the EliteXC debacle and using the KOTC brand and the respect that it brings within the MMA community is a positive step towards staying alive, if we can call it that at this point.
