UFC 95: London, February 21
Fronted by Chris Nelson. Terry Etim vs. Justin Buchholz is the only confirmed fight thus far.
Just hit my inbox about 40 minutes ago; the UFC will return to the O2 Arena in London on February 21. Fight Club presale starts on the 17th of this month, with tickets available to the public starting on the 21st.
I find it quite interesting that an event has been announced without so much as even one official match-up to anchor it. A ballsy move by the UFC, for sure - especially in this economic climate.
Anyone care to have a guess at who we'll se on the fight card?

I’m pretty sure Davis will be fighting in Dublin, not London, and Bisping will most likely be fighting on a TUF finale, not a numbered PPV.

Crazy to think people will buy tickets without any fights announced.

Anderson Silva vs Chuck Lidell or (keith Jardine)
Joe Lauzon Vs Clay Guida
Nate Diaz Vs Tyson Griffin
Dan Miller vs Damian Maia
A bunch of English fighters that no one cares about

I like it. I’m sure Silva v. Liddell will headline and Guida v. Lauzon or Gray Maynard makes sense. I like Griffin against Diaz but I think Demian Maia against Nate Marquardt makes a lot more sense right now.

I’m extremely interested to see Marquardt v Maia. That would be an incredibly technnical battle and if Maia can get by Marquardt I think he deserves a shot at Silva.

i’d buy tickets to a ufc event even without knowing who anybody fighting is….i mean if they came within 100 miles of my house then hell yes! plus u have to figure no matter who the ufc puts on the card it sure beats cage rage! or whatever its called now

Hell yeah
Same here. If UFC came where I live, I’d be all over it (if prices aren’t crazy) regardless of whose on the card.

Anderson Silva is pretty much a lock on this card.

Makes sense, though that then begs the question, will it be free or PPV.

I agree with marquart vs maia makes more sense but Im goin with the assumption bisping vs marquart needs to happen first and I wouldnt be shocked if marquart was the other coach for tuf.

I always liked the idea of Marquardt v. Bisping next but with the heavy rumors of the Hendo v. Franklin fight determining Bisping’s opponent, then I put Marquardt against Maia.
