the dude is totally marketable

I’m glad he’s getting the exposure on CBS. He’s likely to lose badly to Arlovski but a gutty performance on CBS could really build his name. The tough unrepentant fat man is a great gimmick for a fighter.

… emphasis on “gutty” performance, right?

Man, I love Nelson, lol.

Whether it is beating the crap out of Imes, rubbing that belly or talking about defending a RNC by holding his breath, he just never fails to deliver.

Well, I hope you’re not expecting him to deliver a win on Saturday. :-)

No, but I do expect him to put up a decent fight. And you never know what a big shot will do to AA, whom I am also a big fan of.

I’m sure he’ll take his beating like a champ, though.

I'm not so sure

Roy Nelson has continually surprised me. Could he be Datsik 2 for Andrei Arlovski?

If you missed one here’s the last round/finish of that fight.

The dude is deceptively strong though. If he connects on Arlovski’s chin (A big IF) he could put him down. I remember being very suprised at his athetic ability for such an obviously out of shape looking guy. The conventional wisdon says Arlovski by brutal KO or TKO but im intrigued to see what Roy does against an elite fighter..

I have to like Roy Nelson, because he makes me look in shape by comparison. Taco Bell seems like a good match for him.
