QFT, I’m the least excited for the main event.
In some ways I sort of hope Affliction and EliteXC become a permanent matchup. I prefer EliteXC’s cage, as well as the commentary and for the most part the production. I like a lot of Affliction’s fighters. Perhaps if Arlovski/Nelson fight is exciting they’ll be compelled to do more matches.

i dont see what there is to be excited about

we get to see jake shields face someone who has no ground game

AA face another shitty HW. of course the “old” AA will be back… he is aggressive when eh fights crap

this card sucks… people just love to jump on any card that isnt UFC and declare ie exciting when in reality none of these fights mean a damn thing in the long run. When shields submits daley, he will call out gsp and people we will act like it is going to happen… when it wont. If he really wanted to fight gsp, he knows what he has to do

AA will turn nelson into a punching bag… which means nothing bc nelson isn’t even anygood. it is no better than beating rothwell.

when in reality none of these fights mean a damn thing in the long run.

In the long run, all any MMA fan will be left with is memories of fights. Some will fill in an arbitrary hierarchy based on wins and losses. Some will be epic battles of skill and will beyond anything we can imagine attaining during our time on this spaceship, while others involve watching fatties get smashed.

This is simply the latter.
