Jim Miller vs. David Baron on UFC.com
UFC.com has up their now standard extra fight from yesterday's action and it's Jim Miller vs. David Baron. This is a very good example of Miller's smothering ground game as he just owns the fight on the ground. His striking game is tight but you don't get to see too much of that in this fight.
Still, I like that the UFC has taken to showing an extra free fight. Maybe eventually they can get to the point where they can get all the undercard sponsored so that it can be put on the website for 2-3 days after an event ends before it goes into the "Members Only" vault.
Regardless, check out the fight and get a glimpse of one of the future stars of the UFC lightweight division.

really enjoyable fight
the most entertaining fight of UFC 89 for my dollar. Miller is really really impressive. His combination of top notch wrestling and excellent jiu jitsu is uber dangerous. Baron fought a game fight, I hope he gets a second chance. He kind of reminds me of Jason Black — a really good veteran fighter whose game just wasn’t state of the art by the time he made the UFC. Black even got fight of the night in his last fight and still got cut. Hope Baron has better luck.

Yeah...
The best moment of the fight is when Miller slickly avoids a throw from Judo BB Baron and takes his back.

that was a cool move
there were also some very cool reversals and transitions. Baron put up a game fight, landed almost no offense but there are many UFC lightweights who wouldn’t have survived the first round.

Miller is awesome.
I’ll be watching as he develops.

I think they mispronounced his name throughout the broadcast – They said “BA-rin” and I think it should have been “BAH-rohn” (rhymes with "drone"). Any other francophones out there?

This fight was awesome...
… on what seemed like a pretty boring night of fights save for the Lytle fight.
