UFC 90 Preview: Anderson Silva

"Everything has its time," Anderson Silva told Sherdog.com, "and I believe my time is already over."

"I’m going to be fat, with a big belly by the side of the Octagon, eating popcorn behind the scenes, making my imitations and screaming for the fighters: "Go there! Kick his face! Put him down!"

No way his time is over

He’s barely had any time in the octagon!

1 minute against Leben
9 minutes againt Franklin
7 minutes against Lutter
5 minutes against Marquardt
10 minutes against Henderson
1 minute against Irvin

He demolishes everyone. No way is his time over. And this comment Anderson made is strange to hear. Just a few months ago we were hearing Anderson wants to fight as much as he can. Now he keeps talking retirement… WTF

It could be he’s just bored now. I wouldn’t doubt it if he starts trying different things and gets caught in his next fight. I think a loss at this point would be the best thing for Silva in terms of motivation. It may wake him up and get him to focus.

I have to agree

As much as I like Silva, and I do, he hasn’t had much competition and a loss just might light a fire under his ass again. Silva vs Fedor? Ok maybe not :)
