Kim Couture Asserts Jared Shaw Is a Pervert

The addition of Steve Cofield over at Yahoo has made the MMA community a lot more entertaining.  He interviewed Kim Couture about Night of Combat 2, and as usual she did not mince words:

It was an awkward situation. Thank god her Dad was there. She would've much rather had me holding that towel for her than Jared Shaw in the background trying to peek over the towel. I thought that was pretty low.

She also slammed the low pay for Gina Carano, who made $25,000 from EliteXC despite being the biggest ratings draw of the night.

[UPDATE] by Nick Thomas - Added another Night of Combat 2 video after the jump. (Gideon Ray and John Alessio react to Kimbo Slice fight).

I like how you modified the title. Jared Shaw has no business being within 100 miles of an MMA event. Why they – EXC and CBS – allow him to be out front just boggles the mind. Gina should have been paid more, considering Kimbo made $500,000. If EXC continues on, serious changes must be made. Their upper management is an absolute joke.

Stop looking, Jared.

It’s been posted already, but it never gets old:

How you gonna do that with pops standing right there? Shameful.

Wut

Kimbo’s people threatening Seth’s wife? Did I hear that right? First I’ve heard of that. This whole situation is ridiculous. The faster EliteXC goes away in it’s current form and management the better. Bunch of scumbags.

Great interview.

What a mess for EliteXC this week; changes are definitely needed. I don’t want them to go the way of the IFL and bodog though.

Other than the last fight and the controversy,

the rest of the night was great. I really enjoyed it. I mean, I also enjoyed seeing Kimbo getting knocked out by a scared looking semi fruity guy as well but still. The rest of the fights were very good.

I have bashed Little Enos Shaw quite a bit, but here I have to say, I would DEFINITELY been trying to sneak a peek myself. If that makes you a pervert, then count me in, lol.

Both Shaws kind of give off that creepy “free candy van” kind of vibe.
