UWC: Confrontation Spotlight on Mike "The Hulk" Easton
Mike is arguably the best prospect coming out of the Mid-Atlantic in the entire sport of MMA today. He is an Abu Dhabi national qualifier, brown belt under Lloyd Irvin in jiu-jitsu, an exceptional athlete and game fighter. His muay Thai and boxing are unheralded, but arguably his best weapons. He's got a tough test in Greg Jackson's flyweight star Johhny "The Magician" Dodson, but I believe Easton will eventually pass that test with flying colors.

The small guys out of Jackson’s camp seem to be really tough. Of course, I base that almost entirely on the efforts of Damacio Paige. Still, despite losing to Brian Bowles, he fared as well as anyone has against Bowles, which I think says a lot about him as a fighter and his training camp.
And that worries me when it comes to Easton, who I am a tremendous fan of.
This is a great opportunity for Easton. I hope that if he wins he finally gets an opportunity in WEC. I am very interested to see how he fares against the best in the world.

Yeah the small guy out of the Jackson camp’s name is Johhny “The Magician” Dodson and he was featured on The Tapout Program. Easton, who is used to fighting up in weight, will come in the bigger guy for a change as Dodson is a 125er that just can’t find fights at 125. Dodson is a high flyer and this should be a great fight.
